Having inherited his grandmother's old room in Nizhny Novgorod, Stepa became the heir to his relative's dark past: she turned out to be a policeman's gentleman. Now a dishonest policeman demands that Stepa repay her grandmother's debt — 2.5 million rubles, otherwise the young man will go to prison again.
